Excellent post, very well presented and researched. I am not an LV customer but I always thought that there is a lot of appeal in the shape and functionality of the Neverfull. Now in Epi I might consider it. I am looking forward to the next installment.
I am a mom, and a woman of color, and I agree with Mariakvamm. Though I gotta say I also don t know why it is assumed that Mariakvamm s comment had anything to do with people s skin color. When you tell people not to assume I guess you also shouldn t assume anything yourself.
I agree about Sofia s style . Its cheap. I love her character in Modern Family but when I see Sofia in interviews she comes across as a bit bitchy and vain. Of course in reality Charlize might also be bitchy but she doesn t come across it in interviews.
Seriously? When you buy a bag and spend thousands of dollars for it, you are just an incredibly shallow person who just wants to buy the name to appear trendy. There are just way to many earthquakes, starving or sick children, human and animal atrocities that do not justify ANYONE spending that much on a handbag. Period.
After seeing the ads for these in various magazines, I went to Neiman s to look at them. They are even more beautiful in person. The lady web stained was my favorite. I thought that I wouldn t like the shoulder strap. However,goyard online store, I ended up liking the nod to the heritage of Gucci.
The bag Solange is carrying in #73 is made by a Spanish designer called Lautem. This particular bag is called I Got Rhythm and is currently for sale on runway2street.com, a cool website devoted to selling goods by new young designers. I could see my mom buying one out of ignorance because she doesn t even know that it is a knock off of a contemporary brand. She doesn t even know that the contemporary brand exists really, lol. There are some people out there who just buy a bag on the street because they think it s pretty and don t have the luxury or the desire to become familiar with brand name items.
