I have a Paddington, but a different model Paddington. I don t remember what model mine is but it s a rectangular-shaped bag with a thick, flat, short, shoulder strap and small lock. I haven t seen that model since I bought mine. I bought it at Nordstrom and only saw it there.
I think a lot of department stores dropped the brand in-store when the product mix got a little stale toward the end of Marc s tenure at Vuitton. The new bags are a lot better, and if they gain traction like I m hoping they will, I bet it ll be a lot easier to find Marc in the near future.

I m assuming that a small problem like a missing screw can be solved in a matter of minutes, and UPS/DHL can move a package across the US or across the Atlantic in a day or two. So unless something catastrophic happened to your bag, I expect that the turnaround time be 1 week to 2 weeks, max. And NYC is hardly the middle of nowhere- it s a major fashion capital and surely the luxury retailers there have partnerships with authorized repair workshops and such.
When I first got into LV about 5 year ago, there were a lot of options in the $1000-$1500 for bags. Now everything that catches my eye is $2000-$30000. I will happily buy a $1000, but a $3000 bag, hell no. I feel like they are pricing out more people than they realize even well off people may not spend that much just based on principle.
Agreed. North is going to be spoiled rotten, she s going to grow up thinking she s the Queen of the world.
