Mark Cross has an interesting thing going for it. The brand has a preppy, heritage feel, with its structured bags and traditional finishes, but the brand is also willing to use elements like studs and colorblocking to bring its bags a more modern feel. I have a gray suede Celine All Soft that a blue shirt rubbed off on The shirt wasn t even new, had been washed! So upsetting b/c dye on suede really can t be cleaned/fixed. Total bummer. It s this reason as to why I hesitate to buy suede. I believe leather you can clean.
They re really not that durable. I unfortunately bought a duffel and am sad to say that within 6 months of everyday use it wearing out pretty fast. This was a replacement bag for an hm canvas duffle i previously has that lasted 3 years and didn t show much wear but the hardware broke

Such a shame too Coach had a good start early this year with the Borough bags .
