Years ago I bought a Gucci bag, which unfortunately broke not one but twice!!! I had the same shock: you as a luxury brand should guarantee me an excellent product because I paid for excellence (and even more for Chanel) nothing less. By Guccci they sent my bag to Florence and repaired it twice, were very kind but the point is: it should not happen :(
Yesterday I went to the Chanel store in Monaco to buy the GST in black. The SA only had the cream one in stock. She checked the system and told me that no further delivery of the bag to the store was expected. She did not know if the bag was discontinued or not but found it strange not to see any re-supply information on the system.
Nicky has two truly splendid editions of \"The Many Bags\" (which you can view here and here), but I don\'t think we saw this particular Louis Vuitton bag in either one of them. The problem with girls who have very high end bags at young ages is that they begin to view them as a sign of social status, or don t treat then well, or both. One of my good friends uses her Dior as a school bag and leaves it lying around next to her locker, treats her Louis as a sleepover bag, and forgets what country she left her Chanels in. I have another friend who chooses her favourite bags based on what celebrities are wearing, regardless of whether she likes them or not, and then steals money from her parents (who have already bought her everything from Longchamp to Tory Burch to Alexander Wang to Dior) to buy the bags she covets.
Paps recently caught up with Lindsay Lohan while she was doing a little shopping in Milan. She\'s carrying a very spring-appropriate bicolor pastel rockstudded Valentino tote. I think we can all safely assume at this point that she is never coming back to America. Godspeed, Lindsay.
