fake goyard, I find it incredible that they re asking for $2k over the retail price for bags that were out last season. Some of them are beautiful, but why would anyone pay 50% more for a pre-owned bag that could probably still be tracked down at a boutique?
My HG right now is a black box calf Kelly 32 but I don t mind owning a croc Constance either ;). I think the Kelly will be my HG for the next few years. But I see myself wanting another more expensive bag right after I purchased a Kelly. Once I was truly happy with a Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, then Mulberry and now it s all Cline and Chanel. Is Herms really the last stop in the quest for a HG bag?!
I m glad I have a large bag closet (about twice the size of a regular NYC apartment closet) but I do agree with the thought that a bag I ve had stashed in said closet for 2 years should be let go. If I m not willing to carry it out for a multitude of reasons, it s of more value with someone else who would use it more. Then I usually give it to a friend, sell it or to charity.
During sale season, I m actively checking out my favorite e-tailers to look for the best deals I can find. I ve not bought a bag this sale season (I did buy a pair of shoes that I m in love with and will share those soon), but when I was browsing the selection at Neiman Marcus yesterday, I ran into a brand with bags ranging in price from $17 to $39.
The Pinch bag is beautiful but people are right it does look a bit like Dior Bar. My personal favorite is the Twist bag. The lock is kind of ingenious, I love that it says LV without the giant super recognizable logo. It s still hard to separate Marc Jacobs from Louis Vuitton so I still find it weird seeing this as a Louis Vuitton collection, when some of the looks still come off as Balenciaga to me. But I m happy with the direction of the brand.

So many vicious comments toward this sweet baby s photo. She is not the first child born into privilege who will grow up being spoiled by having the finest things in life. People may not like her parents, but they have absolutely no bearing on any of our lives in a direct way. Hundreds of babies are models and featured in print ads, TV, movies, etc and none receive this type of vitriol. This is a beautiful photo of a beautiful baby, we should just appreciate it for what it is, leave the rest. Who cares how her parents make their money? It doesn t matter to me in the least I find it so strange that people let themselves get worked up over Kanye/Kim/the Kardashians to each his own
You can have an opinion about womens clothing and accessories without reverting to talking about what a cheap, tacky person she is. This is not a hard thing to grasp. Really. Stop talking shit about her body, her personality, and start commenting on the garments themselves without relating them to her body. I.E. I dislike that bag. Really. It s that simple. I don t like that skirt. Not Ugh I hate her I don t like that skirt or her ass blah, blah blah, Oh my god that top makes her look like a hooker! Those are opinions that attack her person. Not her clothes. The clothes are an excuse to verbally harm her.
I think children especially toddlers would not appreciate it. When I was a tyke, my father gave me a fake lv wallet. I knew it wasn t real but I also knew whatever brand it s supposed to be was expensive. The whole designer phenomenon didn t mean jack squat to an 8 yr old.
