I totally agree it s almost so comical to see these designer bags being sold in every website like Potrero, Malleries, Fashionphile, Real Real etc., they re all over and you see tons of them especially the Hermes. Which makes me wonder and now I lost all confidence in these lables as being exclusive bags for the rich only. Anyone and anybody ownes one and for those with limited funds you can even place one on layaway .
But even if you slog your way through all the choosing and voting and rating that has to be done for your results to improve (which they eventually do, although not as much as I would have liked), is this system really a superior way to shop than browsing categories at large online retailers like Net-a-Porter or Saks? The visual presentation and art direction aren t even average when compared to most of the high-end shopping sites on the Internet, and instead of offering a well-edited collection of interesting, relevant pieces, Google wants you to do all the editing. The over-the-shoulder strap looks much thicker than the handles on the bag itself which creates a bulky feel to the piece. I wouldn t want this as a gift. I m hoping Saint Laurent is only mocking the other brands, or maybe it s just a bad attempt to fit in ?
You should not spend your life savings for a hand bag. 3 jobs sounds like money is tight and you never know when a rainy day will come along. Chanel bags are not starters why don t you purchase a Marc Jacobs or Louis Vuitton bag instead. That way you have a really nice designer bag and are not breaking the bank. Just my two cents in the end everyone is different. If you have wealthy parents that will help out on a rainy day then that is an entirely different story ;)

The leather on Stella s faux nappa leather has actually gotten better over the last two seasons, and if I must say so myself, it s really starting to feel like real nappa. The only thing is that I don t know how it ll wear over time, because the color is not gonna go all the way through the hide like real leather. I think a lot of the hate towards Stella doesn t stem from the fact that the bags are ugly, because they actually sell really well, I think it s just the price point. Even $800-$900 would be more reasonable because it s still a luxury price point and everybody acknowledges that it s not leather.
