I bet I m not the only one among us who had her introduction to high-end designer bags with the Chloe Paddington. Back in late 2005, I was a college student who had just found the PurseForum, and something about the Paddington (Was it the lock? The handle attachments? Who knows.) sucked me straight in, just as it had sucked in so many others before me. By then, waiting lists were already a mile long and getting longer; the fashion industry was in a full-on Paddington panic, and the fervor we saw last year over the Celine Luggage Tote doesn t even compare. Now, eight years after its launch, the Paddington is back on store shelves as part of Chloe s 60th anniversary celebration. But do you care?
For me is simple, and I am glad my future husband understand. I work, I pay what it has to be paid, what is left is mine, and I can do wherever I want with my money, the same rule apply to him and everyone is happy, what other says about my expensive taste I don t care.

$5000?!?! I ll just stick to portable chargers and feeling my hand around in my bag until I find what I m looking for. This is a really good idea though. Hopefully in the future this will be more common and therefore affordableX)
I don t know. I understand the quality arguments and so on but still don t see why I would want to invest on it. There are tons of brands that have really high quality bags and you don t have to spend a small fortune on them (e.g., Fossil). Also, the fact that every socialite has one? I definitely don t want to be put on that box! It sounds like people are trying too hard. The quality of Chanel is undeniable but the price is definitely a purposeful elitist barrier. Perhaps it will continue into the 21st century with the luxury image it created for itself but the more those brands are associated with people considered more trashy than fashionable,the more they loose some sparkle.?
but of course its not texas inspired, no one is getting shot for no reason, chanel does not oppose science, in fact im sure a lot of science was used to make these bags, nor are these bags, completely bat poop insane. so you are right, they are not true texas. for which we are all eternally grateful.

I would totally expect it from Hermes. Theirs is the kind of arrogance that comes from forgetting that customers and buyers are the reason of their business success a company might sell the most amazing and stunning products but if no one bought them, that company would not have a business.
