Despite the relative lull at the top end of the American market, though, there are signs of life. In addition to Mansur Gavriel s addictively minimal day bags and the Coach creative turnaround, Marc Jacobs is once again making bags that feel as though they might be worth the $2,000 price tag. American fashion will never have the heritage prestige of French houses like Chanel and Herms, but that s not the only way to make compelling luxury bags. And for those who successfully harness the trappings of heritage, like Ralph Lauren, there s room for expansion.

At the rate Reese goes, I feel like we could write a new \"Many Bags\" about her every three months. It seems she buys bags at the same clip many of us buy lattes. In any case, a third and possibly fourth edition are certainly already warranted. If you need to catch up, check out \"The Many Bags of Reese Witherspoon\" and \"The Many Bags of Reese Witherspoon, Part 2.\"

I wanted one since the 80 s when I am the one who carries my Boss bag,(An Arab Royalty) Who only owns Chanel bag. I waited that long and finally got 3, 2 red, one black double flap, not to look rich, but to finally live my dream of having it.
I commpare them because Jessica Simpson is running a billion dollar business. She (or her advisors) knows how to make money in the fashion industry. Jessica may not have a luxury brand, but you can t deny that she is making money hand over fist.
As far as social circles go, I m always the one with the pricey handbag. They don t get it, but I don t get spending hundreds of dollars on shoes. To each his own. Wear what you like. When you look good, you feel good.
I really appreciate this post. I am often bag-shamed. I think the natural assumption is that if you carry a luxury handbag or any luxury item for that matter and you are a certain age you are materialistic, frivolous and/or broke. In my case, none of these assumptions accurately describe me or my financial situtation. What I have come to understand is that bag-shamers are more than likely one part jealous, and one part overly judgmental individuals. Just as I don t concern myself with how they spend their money, goyard usa, they should not be concerned with how I spend mine. As long as my bills are paid, my committments to my church and community are taken care of (i.e. tithes and charitable contributions) and I am not a detriment to myself, my family or my financial future, I shoudl be able to carry a designer handbag in peace. Sadly, haters are gonna hate but, goyard briefcase, (cue Taylor Swift) I plan on shakin those bage-shamers off.
This bag easily scores a five for quality and function. The thick leather doesn t stiffen, it s super supple and doesn t add additional weight. I ve owned this bag for a couple months and it still smells brand new, which is a great nod to the quality of the leather. I already mentioned the intricate process of creating the bamboo handles, and paired with the beautiful materials used on the rest of this bag, it s a winner.
Hysterical post, Amanda. Love the running gag about your iPhone. (BTW, I still have the 5s, and I have small hands. Now I m craving the 6 Plus!) As for mini-bags, I own precisely one: a little colorblocked Jason Wu Daphne that I bought at an unbelievable markdown in 2013, when I first joined tPF and became corrupted. I only carry it in the evening, when I don t need much more than lipstick, a tiny mirror, a credit card, driver s license, and tissues. I rely on The Hubster to carry a cell phone, house keys, and car keys. But if I had a spare $2,000, I d seriously go for the Valentino.
